Morning everyone! I’ve woken up and logged in to Twitter to find something very interesting  pop up. There is a new, more organised Twitter in town, and i like it veeeerrrrry much.

They’ve decided to now give you the option  to create ‘lists’ for your Twitter to enable you to organise your followers or people your following ie; School friends, work colleagues etc and when you click your list, it only shows you the tweets from the people in that list..handy!

I’ll show you a easy tutorial to help you make sense of the new Twitter lists!

new lists
Where lists are kept

create
After clicking lists, you get to add a list name & click ‘Create’

following
Then type in the name of the person you want to add to your list!

put them in a lists
Then, choose the list you would like them to go into by clicking the button!

5
Then when you click your newly created link in the side bar, it only shows those people added to it in your news feed..clever!

6
What’s also VERY cool is that other people can follow the list you’ve just made!

7
You may have notice that it even tells you how many times you’ve been listed in other groups!

8
What ever you save your list as is saved as a permanent link too so it directs you straight there! Eg: Mines – www.twitter.com/sarahies/ieschicks

Right, i hope that gives you some insight in to the new Twitter Lists and gives you an idea as to how they workies. If you’ve got any questions leave them below!

 Afternoon ladies!

What do you think of today’s shoe? They’re actually more of a candy colour in person but i had to adjust the contrast a little because the sun was shining through the window and left a really bad glare and made them look too pale. I love them because they’re a) floral and b) SO 70’s with the chunky heel but still ladylike with the bow and peep toe..my favourite so far!

Last month Dawn Porter sent me, @gemmies_, @clareies & @Hunny_piesies a tweet on Twitter to say she was writing an article about Twitter friendships in Company Magazine and would we like to be in it. Needless to say, we all said YES straight away! How it all began was because on one of Dawn’s podcasties, her and Eileenies were quite drunkies and started putting ‘ies’ at the end of everyting. So, when they finished the podcast, they put both their Twitter names as @hotpatooties @eileenies. I’d been following Dawn for a while and so had the other three girls so we all changed our names to ‘ies’ on the end and so the Twitter ‘gang’ was created. We all then started talking more to Dawn and each other  (mainly about food, food and more food) and in all honesty, it feels like a gorgeous Twitter family over there – I love it! Also, we’ve had more people come and join in the fun too so the love just keeps on spreading! (@chatooties, @clarelouisies, @iam_shereesies & @kesstries)

Anyway, the magazine is out today (It’s only £2, go and buy it because it’s great and you also get a free mascara!) so i took a couple of photos of the article cause i love it but the quality isn’t amazing – sorryies!

I’m also going to do a video later too just to harp on about it even more. But then i promise i will shut up!

Anyway, i’ve got holiday bits to sort out!

Speak soon,

P.s, I feel i should quickly mention a few other girls who i also love following:  @dressjunkie, @ellacinderella & @zozeebo. These girls are so cute and lots of fun! They’re beauty bloggers too and definately know their stuff. Click their Twitter names to see their blogs!

Afternoon!

As you all know i love shoes, so for Christmas last year my best friend Harriet thought it would be quite apt to give me a present for my new desk at work. The gift was a ‘Shoe A Day’ calender that basically shows you a different shoe everyday and sits very nicely on said desk. (Yummy!) The shoes aren’t just modern ones either, there are so many different styles and eras everyday – i love it! I don’t know why i haven’t talked about it sooner but from now on everytime i blog, i’m going to use the shoe page as the header so you can see how weird and wonderful the shoes are and how varied they can be.

Obviously, as you can see above, not all shoes are particularly attractive but todays is quite funny because it obviously doesn’t know British weather at all. This morning when i turned it over i was like “Ha, finally a sandal when it’s sunny!” Shortly after those small words spoken, it rained – typical!

Me & my friends are going on a road trip early hours on Sunday and i am SO excited. There are 8 of us driving down to the South of France for a week so should be lots of fun and full of getting tanned and drunkies! I will do lots of videos and take photos too!

I won’t be logging on to the web for the whole week as i don’t have an iphone. I can, however, send tweets on Twitter but i can’t receive them and i can only receive direct messages so if were regular twitterers and your wondering why i’m being so vacant – that’s why! I’m going to try my best to get lots of blog treats up and running on here for when i’m away so it doesn’t go stale!

Emily has done 1 out of 4 of her little series from the Laden Showrooms event. That’s up and running in the new section ‘Events & Collections’ and then underneath that header is the blog. Or Click here for a shortcut!

So, that’s all i’ve got for today but look out for more exclusive Laden Showrooms stuff soonies and more blogging bits and peices! Woohoo!

Love,

twitter

Afternoon ladies! I hope your all having a bloomin’ good Friday!  I’m in a totally chipper mood today because Friday’s seem to bring out the best in people. I’ve been tweeting all day and everyone is in such a good mood, it’s a really good vibe over there. I love the banter i can have with some people and we don’t even know each other in person but it really can affect your mood and make you feel happy! (I like feeling happy..)

Also, being that it’s FRIDAY means the weekend is here and  think you’ve all established how much i like the weekends. Tonight is going to be fun because Kate is back from holiday (looking all tanned and beautiful!), Harriet has a night off work (yay!) and our old friend VC (Viccy!) is back in town so were going to have a lovely ladies night out! GIRL POWER! VC cracks me up, we’ve been talking on Facebook all week and just getting each other all excited for when we go out. My favourite quote of hers was “I’m wearing the highest heels ever..but they make me look like i’ve pooed my pants so, Sar, if i’m doing a ‘I’m having a poo’ face, tell me and i’ll snap out of it!” Haha, hilarious.

I love girls nights.  I mean, boys will definately be around eventually, but I love the whole ‘meeting first for wine and gossips’ cause everyones shouting over each other and giggling and squeeling and it’s just the most fun EVER! Gotta love being a girl!

Because none of us know what were wearing, we can’t do Outfits Of The Night YET, but i’ll be very snap happy throughout the night and make sure i post the good ones asap!

In other news, I recorded a couple of videos that i’d seen on YouTube recently. One is the ‘Favourite Shoes’ tag, the other is ‘What’s in my bag’ tag and the third was a little intro to say HELLO to YouTube! I’ve only uploaded one so far because i wanted to test the water and see if people even liked what i had to say and so far people have been really kind so i’ll upload the others one by one over the weekend and hopefully keep up the recording!

Because im not self-hosted, I cant embed the player into my blog so i’ve cheated and added the picture below and made it clickable so if you click it, you will be automatically directed to my channel..clever!

youtube

Right, so that’s all i got i reckon! I’ll do lots more blogging over the weekend to update you on some exciting news for Share Your Style so stay in touch!

Big Kisses..

Dawn Porter

For the past two nights my favorite celebrity & journalist Dawn Porter has been  back on our screens with a two part documentary called ‘My Breasts Could Kill Me’ which is a very emotional series about breast cancer. As her Mum died of cancer when she was only 34, Dawn embarks  on a very emotional journey of tests and scans to find out how vulnerable to cancer she is and whether she has the hereditary cancer gene. Along the way she meets some truly inspirational and amazing men & women who are either currently battling cancer or who have had it and fought their way through to the come out of it the other side.

I haven’t had any close experiences with loosing someone to cancer but the concept of cancer has occasionaly been on my mind. For me, my boobies have always made me feel sexy. I like the size, the shape and how womanly they make me feel but Dawn made such a good point in the show by saying she loves her’s too..but eventually they might be the things that kill her.

Dawnies has always been involved in interesting and captivating documentries and what i love about them is that she digs into subjects that get you thinking.  In many of them, the subjects have been about topics i probably wouldn’t have ever considered thinking about before, but when your watching them it makes you wonder why you hadn’t thought about them sooner and this current documentary is a classic example of that. Eventhough I knew cancer existed and have thought about it a little before, it’s never been something i knew much about. For example I never knew how it can start, that it could be hereditary, that it can be in healthy people as well as unhealthy people, that it doesn’t just strike smokers/drinkers and, probably most importantly of all, i didn’t ever consider that men too could get breast cancer too.

I truly admire all the people who took part in the documentary. They were all so brave and inspirational. There was one girl in particular, Kristin, who i felt i could relate to on an age level because she was only 23 when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. She told doctors 8 months prior to her diagnosis that she had a painful lump in her breast but they claimed it was hormonal. By the time they finally listened to her it was a 6x9cm tumour in her breast and had spread to her spine too. When this gorgeous girl was interviewed by Dawn her attitude towards cancer was really positive which, in-turn, was so empowering. She is determined to give cancer the biggest & best fight she can and really kick it in the balls and i couldn’t hope more that she does.

Dawnies really bares her soul and i admire her bravery and courage so much. She lets us into her very personal journey and emotional roller coaster and it made me adore her even more than i did before. She is an inspirational & amazing role model and a perfect example of “real” women. It’s a documentry that will definitely give your heart-strings a tug but it’s so worth watching. It gives you a better understanding of cancer but also a very personal insight to Dawns life and it makes you wish you were there to give her the biggest hug you can.

P.s: Kristin has an amazing campaign called  Coppafeel to teach people the importance of checking their breasts to determine early signs of breast cancer. It is an amazing project so make sure you head over to her site and check it out on the click able link above or the image below.

Hey guys before i rant on, here is my outfit today..

Sorry about the picture quality, my camera is good but i had nobody to take the photo for me so had to do the old mirror jobby!

Todays Outfit.

The dress is my new favourite thing. It’s from Primark and just so comfy for the summer. I love how the arms are batwinged too so it feels fitted but loose and airy at the same time! Its got an elasticated bit through the middle that can be put really high up, or quite low down, depending on your mood! The leggins are also Primark from a few months ago but i love them because they’ve got a cute little zip at the bottom which could look chavvy but i think with the right outfit, it looks cool? Maybe not? Anyway, the sandals are last year from Miss Selfridge, and my hair is just pulled together with a croc clip!

So, this week’s podcast is up and running. Click the little headphones in the side bar or the link below to go and check it out! Listening back i could just hear in my voice that i was a little tipsy so i need to lay off the red wine next week..silly sarahies..

I’ve had a day off work today so i’ve been baking some cupcakes! It’s Kate’s birthday party tomorrow so were going for sushi and then getting very very drunkies so i’ll no doubt get some videos or stupid photos uploaded afterwards..

If you follow me on Twitter then you have already heard that were teaming up with Corsets-UK to give away some prizes each week. They’re a company that sell some gorgeous corsets so check them out. We’ve been talking about competitions for a while now and think for the very first one, were gonna make it easy! All YOU need to do is subscribe to this blog. THAT’S IT! Podcast #5

**I thought i’d posted a blog to say podcast # 6 was up but i didn’t so this is the link for that too! Podcast #6

Hello Bloggers!

I don’t know about you guys but the weather near me is shockingly bad so I’ve ended up sleeping for 1 out of 4 of my days off work. Boo. Also, for some reason, my throat feels like it’s the size of two walnuts so I’m trying to dose up on medicine so i can leave the house this evening and get a bit giddy but considering I’m still sat in my pants at 6pm – this seems unlikely…

I’ve been checking out some cool websites lately that are becoming quite addictive so i thought I’d tell you guys about them so you can check them out for yourselves!

    My Omgpop!

    My Omgpop!

Omgpop! is a fun website full of all kinds of games for you to play against other people around the world. As you get better you receive different medals and points to become a higher rank! There’s a scrabble type one which i really enjoyed, and a sketch one where you draw something and your opponents have to guess what it is and so on. It’s a really fun idea if your bored!

    My Likaholix!

    My Likaholix!

Likaholix is a website based on ‘liking’ things. You basically type in what you ‘Like’ and it comes up with images and an option to write a review about it and then others can like it too! If somethings not listed, you can list it yourself so when anyone else searches for the same product it will then come up! It’s really cool because if you like something enough, you become what’s called a ‘Tastemaster’ in the subject. As you can see, on mine I’m a tastemaster in Fashion because i liked a certain amount of fashion things! Wahoo.

And, for all you Twitter users, there’s a site called Tweet Stats and it’s really interesting to do. All you need to do is type in your Twitter user name, and then you get a whole load of your stats since you’ve been using Twitter! It gives you the low-down of anything you’d need to know about a tweet. It gives you information about how often you tweet, what time of day your usually tweeting, how your tweeting and how often you’ve ‘@replied’ to somebody.

    My Tweet Stats!

    My Tweet Stats!

Also, there’s a ‘Tag Cloud’ option which shows you the most used words you’ve tweeted with. AND if that’s not enough, you can even change all the colours to make it look pretty…I’m finding it all very interesting interesting indeed!

My Tag Cloud!
My Tag Cloud!

So, a couple of sites you may not have known about! If you check them out, be sure to leave comments to let me know what you think! Or add me on the sites so we can play each other, or maybe i could tweet about something else than the above! Have you seen any sites you’d like to share? Leave your comments below too!

All this hunting has made me hungry…have a Good Friday! (See what i did there..hmph..)

Big Kisses!
